Job Description:
Job Description Position Overview: Seeking a highly motivated
and skilled Inventory Specialist to support our Manufacturing &
Engineering Warehouses. The ideal candidate will have excellent
analytical abilities and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
This Individual will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with
ambiguity and able to think big and be creative while paying
careful attention to details. This position is based on Fremont
production facilities. The Inventory Specialist's role is to
organize all receipt and shipment of material to/from Velo3D---s
facilities, process, process, control, verify and to keep records
on incoming and outgoing materials. Additionally, the Shipping and
Warehouse Manager shall maintain the organization of the inventory
in all stocking locations. Essential Job Functions ---Execute
against inventory identification and location program ---Conduct
physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt
audits/reconciliations ---Document and control aged & damaged parts
---Support the Inventory Control Supervisor by driving for
department and organizational goals and objectives ---Identify
inventory discrepancies, research root causes and participate in
efforts to implement demonstrated permanent corrective actions
Qualifications ---High School Diploma or equivalent required
---Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in Inventory Control
required, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Must have minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience working with
ERP systems, preferably NetSuite. Ability to multitask and
prioritize accordingly despite change in scale, scope, or deadline
of task in fast-paced environment ---Ability to frequently and
repetitively lift items up to 50 lbs ---Ability to frequently and
repetitively push and pull items up to 75 lbs ---Strong
organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
---Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills
---Able to work well under pressure while managing competing
demands and tight deadlines ---Remain engaged, proactive and
positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full
accountability for their success ---Work efficiently and
productively in independent and team settings ---Fluent with common
MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ---Committed to
quality processes and communication ---Attention to detail and high
level of accountability ---Ability to maintain a safe and organized
work space ---Team-oriented and self-directed Physical
Demands/Requirements ---Must wear steel-toed boots and protective
eye-wear ---May require hearing protection ---High frequency of
computer keyboarding ---Other personal protective equipment as
applicable ---Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing
facility. Work is often performed in emergency and stressful
situations and may include handling of hazardous materials Work
