Job Description:

We are searching for a Senior Production Planner for a highly regarded and rapidly growing medical devices manufacturing site.  The Senior Production Planner will working collaboratively with customers, moving projects from rapid prototype into high volume production.
The Senior Production Planner will proactively manage the supply chain to ensure no disruptions to production with continues focus on cost and inventory reduction. 
 
Requirements for the Senior Production Planner:
 

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related discipline.  
  
• 7+ years' experience in planning and/or procurement
  
• 5+ years experience in master scheduling and inventory control
  
• APICS / CSCP certification or equivalent preferred 
  
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.         
  
• Strong communications skills with a track record of accomplishment in negotiating with suppliers and at all levels within an organization. 
  
• Excellent problem solving, numerical, statistical and analytical skills.         
  
• Demonstrated ability managing complex supply chain issues and resolving conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.         
  
• Excellent abilities within procurement, scheduling, and supplier performance management in a fast paced, regulated, precision engineering environment.
  
• Strong attention to detail with a capacity to recognize problems and proactively resolve where possible, and escalate as necessary.        
  
• Advanced Microsoft skills, particularly MS Excel and ability to download and manipulate data quickly
  
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a methodical and organized approach to work.            
  
• Ability to apply LEAN concepts and good understanding of pull systems.        
  
• Experience in MRP/ ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems        
  
• High energy, enthusiastic and confident  with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
