IT Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring
Intrinsic's operational efficiency and security, by implementing,
managing, and optimizing changes to our IT infrastructure. Your
primary focus will be on systems and applications - identity
management, employee productivity tools, and other SaaS and
on-premise software tools. You will help to productionize and
optimize our software configuration and patch management, data
protection, monitoring, and role-based access control systems. You
will design, implement, and maintain IT solutions that empower our
teams to innovate and collaborate securely.How your work moves the
mission forward
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure and efficient identity
management system that seamlessly integrates with other systems
such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee
productivity tools including Google Workspace, badging and access
control, code management, etc.
- Refine, manage, and document Identity and Access Management
(IAM) processes, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor
authentication (MFA).
- Implement, administer, monitor, and assist with compliance
reporting for role-based access control systems.
- Drive productivity and collaboration by leading the design,
implementation, migration, and ongoing administration of Google
Workspace for Intrinsic staff.
- Support security reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives as
needed.
- Implement, extend, and administer Mobile Device Management
(MDM) systems through automation, monitoring, reporting, and patch
management.
- Prototype, procure, administer, and patch IT-managed SaaS and
On-Premise software. Integrate with SIEM to ensure compliance and
proactively address vulnerabilities.
- Provide backup support for other IT specializations as needed.
This includes corporate office and lab networking, as well as
office IT systems such as badging, surveillance, conferencing,
peripheral management, and event support.
- Participate in on-call rotations for IT incidents and helpdesk
response.Skills you will need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security,
Information technology or, a related field, or equivalent practical
experience.
- 5+ years of experience with a wide variety of modern SaaS
applications used for employee productivity, including hands-on
experience implementing and administering Identity and Access
Management (IAM) systems, coordinating user data migrations, and
integrating them with SaaS applications to provide SSO
functionality.
- Experience designing, implementing, and administering Google
Workspace email & productivity systems in an enterprise
environment.
- Device management experience across major operating systems,
including Mac, Windows and Linux.
- Experience with scripting and automation, including
infrastructure-as-code.Skills that will differentiate your

- Experience with SIEM administration, engineering and security
operations.

environment.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.The US base
salary range for this full-time position is between $154,000-
$163,625 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share
