Apprentice Chef Hourly WageISS offers a competitive compensation package including Benefits, Paid Time Off, and a starting hourly salary of 17.00 USD Key Purpose Season and cook food following recipes and instructions from a wide arrayof international cuisines, presenting them in an exhibition style and to order. Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence Continually encourages and promotes teamwork daily Willing to assist in all areas of the cafe and adapt to operational needs Lead by example through the daily practice and adherence of company policies/procedures, HACCP, and Cleaning Procedures Ideal Candidate Experience Culinary degree preferred, but not required 3+ years of experience in a scratch-cooking culinary position Experience in multiple, high-volume service platforms (e.g. Hotel,Fine Dining, Banquet (catering), Corporate Dining) Practical experience in International Cuisines Hospitality focused Key Accountabilities Follow and maintain tasks and production to deliver meals on time Highly dependable, reliable, and always on time Must comply with all ServSafe and HACCP programs and standards Actively follow worker-safety guidelines and policies to mitigate risk of injury Demonstrates a high-level of self-awareness Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions Follow and maintain tasks and production to deliver meals on time Highly dependable, reliable and always on time Must comply with all ServSafe and HACCP programs and standards Actively follow worker-safety guidelines and policies to mitigate risk of injury Demonstrates a high-level of self-awareness Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions Physical Demands & Work Environment Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds Utilize team lift, transportation carts, and any other means of assistance when dealing with heavy loads Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods As a global organization, ISS Group is committed to making the international community more resilient and just for all people.
