As the Senior Manager R&D / Product Development Engineering, you will be involved in leading the team that develop pressure sensor products, processes and assemblies for volume production.

In your position, you will be responsible in the following development tasks but not limited to:

  • Closely collaborate with Product Management to develop technical roadmaps and observe market trends
  • Work closely with the Engineering teams in Mexico and China for international project execution
  • Build new processes and collaborative partnership with Operations team through integration and consolidation activities, and problem solving to analyse and resolve Quality issues and customer issues
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to drive quality, growth and cost saving opportunities
  • Report progress on projects and proposals to senior leadership team
  • As a site Engineering leader, work with other functional leaders to comply with company policies and excute strategic business goals and roadmap
  • Deliver in time and in specifications new sensors,
  • Build effective teams and motivate others
  • Maintain and develop a high-quality sensor know-how
  • Manage and measure work
  • Continuously improve products & processes.

What your background should look like:

  • University degree in engineering (Mechanical, electrical or related field)
  • 10+ years of experience in the field of sensors development (MEMS, ASIC, assembly, automation, pressure sensors)
  • Proven experience with customers in automotive and off-road vehicle is a big plus (design with IATF16949, ISO26262 standards)
  • Preferred background of experience working in FAB and experience working with Manufacturing/Operations
  • 5+ years of experience in managing teams
  • Reliable, focused on quality, capable of working independently and under pressure, able to handle several projects concurrently, keen on innovative solutions
  • Always looking to improve and try new ideas
  • Organized, accurate and structured, (6 sigma black belt is a plus)
  • Energizing and result oriented,
  • Open minded, looking forward to build teams based on inclusion and diversity
