We support clients in a wide array of industries including semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace/defense industry, solar, energy storage, automotive and many others. Our highly-skilled chemists assist other scientists and engineers from companies in these fields to support a wide array of activities such as quality assurance, contamination studies, R and failure analysisOur Advanced Materials Laboratory, which specializes in the VPD-Vapor-Phase Deposition/Decomposition and DSE-Drop Scan Etch technique, is looking for a highly skilled Chemist I.This Chemist will prepare OEM parts, wafers and other samples, followed by VPD or DSE analysis. This Chemist must be capable of routinely performing the VPD/DSE technique and performing preventative maintenance. Will also be responsible for evaluation, interpretation, and verification of analytical data and reporting results. You will need to be proficient in computer skills such as LIMS, Pilgrim, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Be ready to work in an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic environment and be part of an enthusiastic team passionate about providing quality data and answers to our customers in a timely manner.Working Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pmAssisting developing new analytical methods to improve the products and services provided to customersCapable of repairing instrumentsPerform preventative maintenance on different types of instrumentationPerform non-routine sampling at clients facility as assigned and complete all other additional assignments as requiredProvide technical training to other chemists, laboratory technicians, and service techniciansResponsible for evaluation, interpretation, verification of analytical dataReview dataSend Routine ReportsPurchases routine lab supplies and reagents.Willingly serves on Safety, 5s and other committees.Complies with the established Quality System and reports quality deficienciesEnsure accuracy and consistency of dataEnsures proper data entry of analysis resultsLimited customer communicationMaintains records for instrument calibrations and preventative maintenanceOperate and maintain assign lab instrumentsPerforms routine and limited non-routine analyses and other lab procedures as requiredPrepare required reagents and standardsRetrieve, move and connect/disconnect cylinders for the purpose of analysisAdminister safe laboratory practices, and keep all related safety trainings up to dateGood problem solving skills, innovative and resourcefulProficient in computer skills such as LIMS, Pilgrim, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWork safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratory.1-3 year experience with BS in Chemistry or Similar Science0-2 year experience with MS in chemistry or Similar ScienceAdminister safe laboratory practices, and keep all related safety trainings up to dateGood problem solving skills, innovative and resourcefulProficient in computer skills such as LIMS, Pilgrim, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWork safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratoryWorking Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pmCandidate must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
