Facebook designs, manufactures, delivers and operates its own cloud
infrastructure. The product areas in which we innovate to deploy
best in class equipment are compute servers, storage servers,

Facebook is seeking a Supply Manager to partner with key
stakeholders and own development, communication and execution of
equipment supply plan, ensuring optimal availability - right
equipment in the right place at the right time. The person will
partner with key suppliers, as well as internal project & category
teams on improving product availability and reducing overall supply
chain costs. The person will leverage creativity to solve complex
optimization problems in a scalable way and drive continuous
improvement of supply planning processes by benchmarking against
best practices. This full-time position is part of the
Infrastructure Data Center – Sourcing and Operations Engineering

Lead creation of the supply plan, optimizing capacity
utilization, ensuring business goals are achieved, and driving
timely & accurate supply communications.
Publish build plan to suppliers and track production schedules
against plan, proactively managing all deviations & mitigating
risks to meeting the supply commitment.
Work with the suppliers to ensure capacities are accurately
represented in the system.
Partner with the Project Sourcing team to determine and execute
an optimal fulfillment of the supply plan.
Partner with the Category Sourcing team to define allocation
plans for constrained equipment, ensuring optimal business share
allocation across geographies.
Recommend how to improve supply planning systems and processes
to achieve greater efficiency & scale.
Drive implementation & adoption of new capabilities.
Work to improve data systems and develop new reporting tools &
metrics to improve supply visibility & accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or
supply chain management.
Experience in supply chain fulfillment operations (forecasting,
demand management, supply planning, order management, MPS/MRP,
inventory control, logistics).
Experience in collecting and analyzing information,
problem-solve and driving solutions.
Experience in business judgment and creating executive
MBA or Masters in Supply Chain.
Experience in a hyper-scale Data Center space.
Experience using MRP/ERP systems.
Familiarity with ground-up construction and greenfield site
Knowledge of basic SQL and statistical concepts.
Detail-oriented, experience communicating complex problems and
solutions, strong drive to collaborate, strong bias for action to
close out problems.
Strong process/system background and proven experience to
rapidly understand, use and drive improvements in new
