Tesla has an opening for a Construction Project Coordinator to
assist a team of project managers in the construction of new Sales,
Service, and Delivery sites as we expand our fleet throughout North
America. This individual is a force multiplier for the success of
the construction team and will be responsible for supporting the
manager of the retail development construction team as well as
project managers for their assigned areas. The project coordinator
will track team metrics and perform weekly reports. They will be
relied upon to order and track the status of tesla furnished
materials, as well as coordinate with partner groups to plan, and
report on items such as IT and Tooling installation.
This position is responsible for building and maintaining
communication with stakeholders within Tesla, as well as with
material vendors and construction firms.
Build and maintain weekly reporting on key metrics
Order and coordinate delivery for owner furnished items
associated for all projects in your region
Provide training to General Contractors on Tesla specific
software for reporting.
Track and enforce execution of weekly vendor reporting
Support remote project managers office and communication
Suggest and implement project process flow improvements
Develop, schedule and drive project close-out processes
Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors,
subcontractors, production teams and Tesla stakeholders to
represent Tesla core values
Minimum 2 years of experience building commercial and/or
Knowledge of construction principles and practices
Construction experience in a retail environment preferred
Ability to effectively deal with subcontracts, subcontractors
and/or self-perform work
Excellent organizational, and problem solving skills
Strong communication and coordination skills
Availability to work evening and weekend hours if necessary
