Job Description:

Developer Relations Manager (SCB 10X R&D)Typhoon is an open-source initiative creating advanced LLMs optimized for the Thai language, including multimodal models (audio & vision). Models are available on Hugging Face.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of product marketing, developer relations, technical PM or a similar role
• Proven experience in Developer Relations, Community Management, Marketing, or a related role, ideally within the tech or open-source space
• Technical proficiency to create small software projects, demos, or proofs of concept (POCs) that inspire and engage the community
• In-depth understanding of open-source communities and familiarity with AI/ML technologies
• Strong communication skills to effectively connect with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with managing social media platforms, community forums (e.g., Discord), and organizing community events
• Fluency in Thai and English is a plus, as our project operates bilinguallyResponsibilities:
• Develop and share toy software projects, demos, and hands-on examples to showcase the practical applications of our models, making them accessible and engaging for the developer community
• Foster and maintain a vibrant, inclusive community of AI researchers, data scientists, engineers, developers, and enthusiasts to drive awareness and engagement with our models, APIs, datasets, and tools
• Define and execute strategies for community growth, engagement, and to maintain high retention rates
• Oversee community platforms (e.g., Discord, Twitter) and moderate discussions to ensure productive, inclusive, and respectful interactions
• Organize community events, including online forums, webinars, and hackathons, to drive participation and contributions
