Responsibilities
Prepare wires, parts, components, and structures to assemble wire
harness and subassemblies
Assemble component parts into completed assemblies or subassemblies
following SOP
Use and read tape measures
Perform hand crimping and hand stripping of electrical
terminals
Measure and cut cable to required lengths
Read basic drawings (wire, terminal, housing, label)
Perform pull test on cable wires
Apply cable labels
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
Skills
Direct Cabling (2 years of experience is required)
Electronic Assembling
Packaging
Circuit Board Assembling
