Overview:
Rapiscan Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products range from handheld metal detectors to Real Time Tomography used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities:
Help develop and design distributed and secure network environment for EDS Security Screening Products.Develop and implement repeatable processes that enable the design and delivery of Secure products that meets international standards. This will include design and development of the central Certificate Authority, RADIUS and Active Directory domain for customer sites.Participate in the development of product security test protocols and the evaluation of test results. These efforts should ensure efficient assessment of product vulnerabilities to new and emergent threats and include identification of root cause and remediation strategies.Design and implementation of secure system and network architecture, including malware protection, vulnerability management, network security technologies such as VLAN definition, firewalls and IDS/IPS, content filtering, authentication systems, log management, and encryption.Support efforts to design and develop standardized ways for engineers to securely connect to test resources from remote.Implementation and support of multiple enterprise Anti-Virus solutions in the central test lab, and in satellite labs to support protection of operations, and to assist in testing compatibility of products with AV solutions.Support efforts to develop and expand use of the current ELK log aggregation solution to support SIEM capabilities.Interact with the development and engineering team for integration and documentation.Demonstrate good design practices and methodologies.Function well in a team environment. Gains consensus, leads, influences, and ensures cross-discipline participation and feedback.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field)At least 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, or Cyber Security EngineeringExperience with implementation and operation of log aggregation and basic SIEM implementations to identify anomalies and facilitate escalations. Experience with ELK is desiredExperience in building, operating, and maintaining a cyber security test operation.Hands on experience in building fault tolerant network environment using Cisco, Dell switchesHands on experience in building and configuring secure network environment using Fortinet, Palo Alto Network, Cisco firewall/switches.Must have experience hardening operating systems, VM, and networking environments.
