Supernal is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility solutions that will foster the development of human-centered cities. We are designing a completely new electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft tailored to the mobility needs of future cities. This allows passengers a seamless intermodal journey that safely transports them to their final destination. What we do: The Scrum Master is responsible for organizing, driving, improving, and accounting for insights into the technology we develop while building multi-functional relationships through stellar communication and collaboration. The role plays a key role in ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery of functionality and data through a particular system (or systems), and tools. The role will work with the engineering teams focused on the delivery pipeline. What you can do: Lead, design, and complete complex scrum engineering project(s) Define program plan/schedule and handle program execution Think creatively to deliver solutions to complex program issues, be flexible and creative to design a working framework: scrum, agile lite, agile with DO-178C, etc. Effectively and consistently communicate program status and drive the decision-making process Handle development budgets and engineering builds Attend meetings, record action items, and track results Deliver data-driven analytical skills and good judgment to extract insights and prioritize opportunities Continuously facilitates improvements to the efficiency of the development team Responsible for running the scrum process with the team using Agile methodology Aids in the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization Coaches team in Agile estimation techniques makes appropriate and realistic commitments and works closely with Product Owners Uses the Jira/Confluence tool to prepare, communicate, and share team metrics and delivery results What you can contribute: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or leading multi-functional software development teams (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) Experience running agile aerospace Projects from inception all the way to MOL Willingness to facilitate learning and empower team members to teach others (Train the Trainer) Excellent proficiency and hands-on experience with Jira Experience in developing and delivering education sessions Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team) Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills Ability to develop collaboration among team members and help the team solve problems Have the ability to establish a high level of credibility with executives and business partners; proven ability to influence, negotiate, and aim to results Knowledge of the Agile framework and methods (i.e., Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development process models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proactive delivery of communication and follow up Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality You may also be able to contribute: Master's degree in a relevant field preferred Certified scrum master desired Experience with Atlassian toolchain, ability to set up a global configuration and maintenance (maintain requirement, change analysis, integrity check, resolve configuration error, etc.) Technical background in engineering product development (SW and HW) with knowledge of various sensors Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and machine learning Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check.
