Job Description:
Field Service/Installation Technician: We are a leading climate
tech company and the developer of RecycleOS?, the only full-stack
enterprise AI software and automation solution for recycling
plants, CPG companies, and packaging manufacturers to achieve
decarbonization of packaging. Our solutions increase the recovery
of recyclables at recycling plants (material recovery facilities)
and enable CPG companies and packaging manufacturers to exceed
their ESG, EPR, and recycled content goals. Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in all aspects of robotic systems
installation Reliably communicates with customers throughout the
installation process from preinstalling to post-installation to
ensure that all expectations are understood. Calibrate equipment to
meet the performance specifications outlined in the Statement of
Work signed by the customer. Provide training to our customers both
before and after the physical installation of the equipment.
Responsible for working with the install team while onsite to
ensure job completion. Will be a champion of quality by supporting
the install team to create a consistent install in both product and
customer experience Ensure safety is the top priority for the
install team by executing company policies and procedures in
addition to working around customers' safety concerns Ability to
make on-the-fly decisions when there are complications onsite.
Troubleshoot and repair any deficiencies with the robot cell upon
startup. Identify and troubleshoot problem areas, and provide new
ideas and methods. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications: Ability to read and understand technical
installation drawings Highly proficient with common field tools
(tap/die, impact drills, grinders, multi-meter, etc.) Extremely
resourceful - known as a person who ---finds a way to get it
done.--- Ability to work autonomously Previous experience in a
customer-facing role. Strong communication skills both written and
verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and
adapt to rapidly changing requirements. Preferred: Experience with
electrical wiring, ability to read and understand schematics
Experience with automated industrial equipment Experience cutting,
grinding, and welding steel Excitement about robotics, artificial
intelligence, and recycling Competency with standard office
computer applications Travel: 30% to 40% The physical demands
