We strive to ensure employees feel heard and given the resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers.We are seeking a Digital Experience Researcher to support technology solutions design and development for HR programs. The ideal candidate will question common assumptions, demonstrate a rigorous approach to qualitative and quantitative UX research methods, and have a passion for the future of consumer technology. Additional skills include the ability to think tactically and strategically about user needs and product design and strength in building connections and relationships with a variety of internal and external partners. In particular, we value researchers with experience translating user feedback into meaningful insights and the capability to turn those insights into actionable product recommendations.**Required Skills:** 1. Identify adoption opportunities for new products and improvements for current products2. Analyze how new Facebook products tie in with market needs and consumer preferences3. Define design opportunities based on existing or ad-hoc research and quantitative data4. Work closely with product teams to identify research questions and prioritize projects in short and long term5. Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative and some quantitative methods to create actionable insights across the product development lifecycle, including UX testing of early prototypes, such as usability, 1:1 and group interviews, and surveys6. Work closely with partner teams (product design, engineering, product management, analytics) to understand their goals7. Proactively involve team in the research process8. Synthesize insights in a compelling, creative, and actionable way that cuts to the chase of the underlying user issues9. Effectively communicate with and present findings to a variety of audiences from product teams to executive leadership10. Support concept and usability testing research plan development and session delivery11. Collaborate with Insight Specialists to define needs for quantitative evidence to inform design strategy12. Collaborate with other researchers on research methods and priorities**Minimum Qualifications:** 13. 4+ years research experience in a user-obsessed company or organization14. Experience conducting product UX research experience15. Experience with generative, iterative, and evaluative research methods16. Experience with both qualitative and/or quantitative (e.g., survey design and analysis) research methods17. Experience in designing and delivering design thinking sessions & workshops, setting clear expectations and defining tangible outcomes18. Experience building meaningful cross-functional relationships19. Effective communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences**Preferred Qualifications:** 20. Master's Degree (MA/MS in Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Cognitive Human Factors, or MBA)21. PhD in Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Cognitive Human Factors, or a related field22. Experience combining qualitative and quantitative user data into cohesive insights23. Experience planning UX research across the product lifecycle, from early generative to mid-cycle development, to in-market UX24. Experience designing/researching intelligent assistive technologies25. Experience implementing employee-centric HR technology solutions26. Familiarity with Workday, Salesforce and Workplace by Facebook functionality including tenant configuration, data loads, and maintenance27. Proven track record of effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders28.
