Putting Patients First . About the Neurosciences Department Our
Neurosciences Department brings together a diverse and highly
specialized team offering comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for
a wide range of neurological conditions—from headaches and syncope
to stroke and complex tumors. As part of our inpatient neurology
service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care
to patients with acute and complex neurologic needs. Role Overview
As an Inpatient Neurosciences Physician Assistant, you will: -
Manage all aspects of patient care for the neurology inpatient
service - Perform neurological consults for both Emergency
Department and in-house patients - Participate in stroke code
responses and assist in acute stroke management - Coordinate
discharge planning and outpatient follow-up - Collaborate closely
with neurologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members This
is a full-time, days-only position with rotating weekend and
holiday coverage. Preferred Qualifications - Neurosurgical or
neurology experience preferred but will consider strong
new-graduate applicants. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies - Active NYS
Physician Assistant License - Current NCCPA Certification - BLS and
ACLS certification - NYS Infection Control Certification - DEA
registration and NYS Opioid Prescriber Training Certification Join
