seeking a Veterinary Clinical Services Supervisor to join our
dedicated team. We're searching for a compassionate, driven
individual who is passionate about delivering the highest standard
of care to our patients and clients. Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00
per year Location: 1618 Washington Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539 Who You
Are: The ideal Clinical Service Supervisor is a natural leader who
inspires and motivates their team. You're a problem-solver who can
think on your feet and make quick decisions. You're also a
compassionate individual who understands the importance of building
strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. This is a
70% clinical on the floor supervisory position with 30%
administrative support. What You'll Do: Lead by Example: As a
Clinical Service Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing
the daily operations of the client service and veterinary medical
support team. You'll set the tone for the department by modeling a
positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Ensure Exceptional
Client Service: You'll work closely with clients to ensure that
they have a positive experience at our hospital. You'll answer
their questions, address their concerns, and go above and beyond to
exceed their expectations. Manage and Develop Staff: You'll be
responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating support staff.
You'll also provide ongoing coaching and development to help your
team members reach their full potential. This may include training
or teaching veterinary assistants and technicians technical skills.
Optimize Workflow and Efficiency: You'll continuously look for ways
to improve the efficiency of the client service and veterinary
medical support team. You'll identify bottlenecks, implement
process improvements, and ensure that the team is always operating
at peak performance. Maintain a Safe and Positive Work Environment:
You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive work
environment for both staff and patients. You'll enforce safety
protocols, address any workplace conflicts, and promote a culture
of respect and collaboration. Education and Experience Minimum of 3
years experience in a veterinary leadership or supervisory role,
demonstrating leadership, coaching and organizational skills
required. Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant or
Veterinary Technician required. Active California Registered
Veterinary Technician (RVT) license preferred. Experience working
in a multi-department emergency or specialty practice preferred.
Candidates with an Associate’s degree or a high school diploma,
along with at least four years of veterinary medical experience
showing growth in responsibility and skills will also be
considered. Requirements and Qualifications A genuine compassion
for both people and animals. The ability to perform or instruct
team members in veterinary medical patient care and nursing tasks.
Basic veterinary front office skills including client service,
financial management and phone etiquette. Excellent communication
skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to provide clear
and constructive feedback. The ability to seamlessly transition
between leadership and team-player roles, fostering a collaborative
environment. A self-motivated and self-directed approach to work,
demonstrating initiative and a strong work ethic. Exceptional
organizational skills, including the ability to multitask,
prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
Proven ability to encourage, mentor, and lead a team, fostering a
positive and supportive atmosphere. Creative problem-solving
skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and find
innovative solutions to challenges. Unwavering focus on client
care, with the ability to assess client needs and provide
appropriate guidance, support, and solutions. A proactive approach
to expanding the company's client base and attracting new patients.
