The Opportunity - Coordinate efforts with key leaders in central operations. Participate and lead multidisciplinary meetings involving nursing, providers, and ancillary services. - Oversee quality and safety initiatives. - Train and mentor providers in patient experience techniques. - Create and champion clinical pathways. - Collaborate with hospital quality personnel to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards. - Coordinate workflows with nursing leadership, case managers, social workers, and hospital ancillary services. - Monitor site financial performance and identify and create new areas for growth and revenue. - Develop an expertise and understanding of the yearly budget, financial performance measures and monitoring systems, and billing and reimbursement issues / systems. - Up to $150k sign on bonus available for eligible candidates. Required Experiences and Competencies - Licensed physician as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency through an accredited residency program required. - Maintain membership and privileges on Hospital’s medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital’s medical staff where services are being provided required. - Physician Partnership status required. - Superior clinical skills to serve as role model by setting high standards preferred. - Administrative experience and aptitude preferred. - Interest in interpreting complex financial data and with understanding of finance and accounting as they relate to practice management preferred. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to motivate physicians and non-physicians, manage multiple assignments, work successfully with a diversity of people and locations, maintain good working relationships; Supportive team member; Ability to establish effective relationships quickly with both clients and non-clients preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred. - Excellent relationship building and process improvement skills preferred. - Meeting facilitation. - Excellent communication skills. - Change management/Process improvement. - Project management. - Process improvement. - Relationship building. - Technology skills. The Practice Emanuel Medical Center – Turlock, California - Established Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program with rotating students. - 209 hospital beds with 32-bed ED. - 64,000 annual patient volume. - STEMI Receiving Center and takes transfers from outside facilities for higher level of care. - Provider housing 5 minutes from medical center is available. - Emanuel Medical Center has partnered with Stanford Health Care to offer a state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology Center. - Scribe coverage to assist with charting and throughput. - Overlapping advanced provider and Physician shifts. - Subspecialty coverage includes general surgery, cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pediatrics, OB/GYN and hospitalists. Patients needing a subspecialty not listed can be easily transferred. - Central to all that is California, located just west of Yosemite National Park and within a 2-hour drive to the Bay Area.
