Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Dosimetrist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) - Acute Care CMD Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Medical Dosimetrist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Berkeley, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your medical dosimetry skills while advancing your career as a CMD. The travel assignment will entail generating a clinically acceptable radiation therapy treatment plan for cancer patients. You will work closely with the radiation oncology team to ensure the prescribed dose of radiation is delivered optimally. Job Responsibilities: - Designing radiation treatment plans to deliver precise levels of radiation doses with optimal beam geometry. - Perform calculations to ensure accurate delivery of the prescribed radiation dose. - Document all pertinent information in patient records. - Provide support and assistance to the medical physicist.
