Job Description:
Job Title: EEG Technologist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro
Diagnostics Specialty: EEG Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours
per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 1 year
of experience required License: Valid State License Certifications:
BLS, Registered EEG Technologist certification required Must-Have:
- Specific charting experience preferred - Epic experience
preferred - Requires specific amount of experience - 2 years
required for submission Description: Performs routine and
specialized non-invasive neurological tests as ordered by the
physician for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention
of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound
judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise
procedures. Delivers accurate results to the physician in a timely
manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient and their
support group through patient assessment, attentive monitoring and
care, and effective communication. Weekends may be included in the
rotation. Background policy considerations apply prior to
submission.
