Job Description:
The Registered Nurse coordinates and provides patient care
tailored to specific age groups, ensuring safety and quality
aligned with unit standards.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current
RN licensure in New Mexico or a Compact state.
BLS certification needed within 2 weeks of hire; other
certifications within 6 months.
Skills include knowledge of patient age-specific care, effective
communication, and respect for patient rights.
Responsible to the Patient Care Director or Manager, working in a
safe, well-lit environment with exposure to infectious risks.
Must handle emergency situations, perform physical tasks involving
standing, lifting, and maneuvering patients and equipment, with
good vision and manual dexterity.
