Hello. This is Warm Springs Pet Hospital. We are seeking a full or part-time Veterinarian to join our 8 doctor hospital.*About Us*We are a 7 year old clinic in south Fremont, just 15 minutes north of San Jose. We're easy to get to from both I680 and I880. Since starting up, we've been lucky to be one of the highest rated clinics in the area. We grew quickly from word-of-mouth, reputation, and the variety of interesting procedures we perform. We use Avimark practice software, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and full in-house IDEXX labs (Procyte, SediVue, CoagDx, VetStat, Catalyst). We are not a corporate owned clinic!*What we are looking for*We hire based on personality, rather than resume. We're looking for someone who likes to have fun at work, gets along well with others, and is comfortable in a larger group setting. We're equally ok with experienced veterinarians and new grads. If you are an experienced doctor, you'll be happy here because we don't dictate medicine. If you are a new grad, you'll also be happy because we have experience hiring and mentoring multiple new grads in the past and they all have done very well here.*Great Experience** Staffing: You'll always be working alongside 4-5 doctors each day and ample support staff.* Schedule: Our daily schedules are separated into days of either 100% surgery or 100% exams. The surgery doctors can completely focus on procedures and not worry about finishing them in time to see any appointments. Second, our last appointments are 90 minutes before closing. That way, you are getting out on time each day and have a more predicable schedule. Lastly, each doctor is in control of their own schedule, and can add block-offs or approve add-ons on their own. So, if you'd like to be a part of or learn an interesting procedure, or catch up on your charts or call-backs, you don't need to ask for anyone's permission.* Our Clinic Values: Our focus is to build long-term client relationships, not make a short-term profit. What that means for you is that a manager will never hound you about getting your production numbers up or ask you to push tests that you feel are un-necessary.* Advanced Procedures: We do approximately 10 to 15 TPLOs, in addition to many other interesting procedures on a regular basis (fractures, MPLs, lateral sutures, pyometras, RNAs, cystotomies, etc). If you have any interest in doing or learning any advanced procedures, we are likely the best fit for you. That being said, we know that advanced procedures aren't for everyone and so you won't be asked to do or learn something that you are not interested in - many of our doctors are more interested in routine procedures or internal medicine.*Compensation*We offer a competitive base salary along with quarterly production bonuses and there is no negative accrual to our bonus system. Depending on your experience and the types of procedures that you are comfortable performing, your total compensation could be on the very high end for the bay area.*Benefits*Yearly CE allowance to use as you see fit (airfare, hotel, conference, books, etc).
