Join the IVX Health team and redefine the care experience for patients nationwide! We are currently seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team. This is a Per Diem position to help support the Fremont center in the East Bay.

Nurse Practitioners ensure that we continue to deliver an unmatched, high quality care experience for our patients. Our NPs bring a comprehensive perspective to our care model that is fundamental to how we deliver care. Providing a personal touch, we look to them to provide support and expertise not only to our clinical team, but to our patients and referring providers.


  • Assess and document the health status of the patient. Including SOAP note documentation
  • Provide intake including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history
  • Provide onsite supervision for all patients
  • Prepare patients for infusion or injection
  • Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
  • Ensure patient care is documented in the Electronic Health Record
  • Keep environment clean and disinfected after each patient use
  • Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
  • Reinforce patient and family education regarding disease processes and treatment side effects
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and front desk staff to ensure highest level of patient care
  • Assist with audits and regulatory functions, as needed
  • Assist with annual staff review process including skill competency assessments
  • Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
  • Works at multiple facilities within the market as needed

    • Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
    • Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
    • Proficiency with standard office software applications (Microsoft Outlook, Office, Teams -)
    • Demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of patient care
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other medical staff
    • Strong leadership skills, self-confidence, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Exceptional active listening skills

      • Experience in an infusion setting preferred
      • Current RN licensure for state where practicing
      • Completion of Masters or Doctorate in nursing program
      • Current NP licensure for state where practicing
      • Board certified through ANCC or AANP
      • Current BLS CPR certification

          WAGE RANGE

          Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience and is benchmarked against similar organizations to our size and industry. For our Nurse Practitioner role, we generally pay new hires between $70.60 and $84.00 in the Bay Area market. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for roles and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other company benefits; some of these benefits may also be available for part-time positions.
