of sand, resulting in smaller, faster, more powerful, and more
power-efficient chips-the kind that are driving the proliferation
of technology into our everyday lives. To produce the tiny, complex
chips used in products such as cell phones, computing devices, and
entertainment gadgets, semiconductor manufacturers require highly
sophisticated processes and equipment. In fact, nearly every
leading-edge integrated circuit made today has been processed with
our client's equipment.
Position: Lab Supervisor
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay: Total compensation for this role will be into six figures
(base plus bonus)
Position Description:
The Lab Supervisor directs, leads and supervises a team of highly
skilled Lab Service Engineers for the company's Development Lab. In
this role, you will manage team workloads, set daily priorities and
ensures work requests are executed per procedures. You will be
asked to document standard operating procedures and develop
non-standard operating procedures for new systems.
Responsibilities:
? Identify lab operation improvement opportunities and manage the
implementation to success.
? Develop workflow and business processes to improve efficiency for
lab operations.
? Work with process and productivity engineers to continuously
improve scope and quality of service provided by the team.
? Communicate to engineers on new improvements and requirements
that will aid smooth execution.
? Reinforce safety protocols, drive safety improvement, and ensure
quality of RCCA for ETS events.
? Develop lab installation requirement for "first-in-lab" new
products partnering with system engineering and GWS
engineering.
? Participate in new product CFTs to understand requirements and
challenges.
? Program manage the creation and implementation of lab facilities
requirements.
? Drive design review for new facilities equipment.
? Manage team skills development and career growth.
? Maintains training matrix and evaluates individual
performance.
Requirements:
? Highly motivated to lead team for success, always seeking for
improvement and drive projects to timely closure.
? Excellent interpersonal communication and people skills
? Good leadership, problem solving and influence management
skills
? Science or Engineering Degree with good understanding of
semiconductor equipment, chemical safety and facilities
requirements
