Job SummarySeeking a motivated individual with excellent
organizational skills, customer service skills, an aptitude with
computers programs, a science background and interest in assisting
with the creation of a Pipette Management Program. The candidate,
under limited supervision, will assist with managing the
rotation/set up of preventative maintenance service associated with
pipettes, setting up of 3rd party vendor to service pipettes,
collecting of pipettes, collecting reports, data entry. You'll
serve as a relationship leader to the customer. Communicate program
and other customer information for compliance with site

more!MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build the new pipette calibration program with some assistance
from other sites who have this program and Manager
- Enter assets into equipment management system
- Keep track of and billing the calibration date on pipettes and
make sure that pipettes are recalibrated before expiration and on
an as needed basis.
- Work with lab managers to plan appropriate times to calibrate
pipettes and escort vendors onsite.QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree in Science preferred or BA
- 1-year experience working within a laboratory setting
- Strong process optimization skills and scientific trouble
shooting skills
- Fully computer literate and proficient with all office
applications
- Highly motivated, hardworking, hands on, organized with strong
ability to lead contending priorities in an upbeat
environment.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Conform to all customer requirements for background checks,
health and safety issues, security clearances and medical
checkups.
- Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for
and perform tests.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills; display a professional
can-do demeanor. Perform duties with the highest regard for safety
and quality. Ability to understand and follow site protocols,
policies and procedures.
- Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the
ability to act independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet time critical
