Laboratory coordinator responsibilities include, but are not
limited to, the following :
Manage and organize the equipment and inventory for a busy
analytical QC laboratory
Perform inventory management including ordering and restocking
consumables and chemicals
Ensure chemicals are properly stored and labeled appropriately
Manage equipment and pipettes for the laboratory including
calibration schedules, use logs, preparing reagents and buffers,
and end to end lifecycle documentation.
Ensure laboratory safety signage, communications, and work
Optimize laboratory inventory and flow through process
Ensure Lab is clean, organized, and that area is ready for users to
Generate, review and/or maintain records or documents in a detailed
and consistent manner
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess
Experience in a cGMP, dynamic, fast paced laboratory, coordinating
and managing equipment and inventory.
Experience managing equipment lifecycles in a regulated
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and
oral), a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and an ability
to interact with various departments and levels.
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks
simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and
comply with company policies
Associates degree in microbiology, life sciences, or other related
degree concentration or directly relevant experience.
At least 2 years related laboratory experience (microbiology and
environmental monitoring in a GMP facility preferred)
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without
restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with
overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable
distance of Fremont, California are encouraged to apply.
