you will support end-to-end logistics with a focus on import and
export operations to optimize and align with SSI business goals.
This position is responsible for executing strategies to enhance
operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
across the supply chain. The associate manager will focus on
leveraging best practices, process improvements, and technology
adoption to drive growth, while collaborating with other
departments to ensure seamless and cost-effective logistics,
inventory management, and transportation solutions.SSI offers a

import/export compliance operations for high-value product
deliveries at a multi-billion-dollar scale.Location: Hybrid,
working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with
the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

- Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or
Masters with 3+ years or PhD with 0 years in Logistics Management,
Transportation, and Import/Export compliance or related field
preferred.
- Custom broker license, highly preferred.
- Experience with C-TPAT & ISA custom web portal, preferred.
- Experienced with the classification process.
- Exercise independent judgment, critical reasoning skills, and
excellent communication skills.
- Follow-up skills, proactive, detail-oriented, and
well-organized.
- Assertive, self-motivated, goal and result driven.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with all
levels of management and staff.
- Must be willing to collaborate with internal/external other
teams (credit, sales, vendors, inventory, legal).
- Must be willing to support sales with month end shipping
inquiries and be available to support team off hours.
