energy.As a Government Account Manager at Tesla, you'll be
empowered to manage proposals, procurement, and contract
administration activities for government purchasing. Take charge of
nurturing existing programs and exploring new business
opportunities with public entities, while building strong
relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your
expertise in managing state and municipal government contracts will
be instrumental in driving growth and achieving success in this
pivotal role.
What You'll Do
- Contract Mastery: You will be a crucial player in supporting
proposal development and managing the entire contract lifecycle.
From ensuring compliance with provisions on new and existing public
opportunities to maintaining existing contracts, your attention to
detail and understanding of government regulations will be
instrumental in our success
- Sales Operations: Master the art of processing government
orders, communicating updates to customers, and facilitating
seamless order release through delivery. Your prowess in managing
the reconciliation and invoice processes for special billing of
government contracts will be invaluable to our operations
- Sales Pipeline: Hit the accelerator on achieving our market
share objectives and surpassing sales targets. You'll collaborate
on ad hoc projects and campaigns that elevate our program
objectives, driving exponential growth and establishing Tesla as a
leader in government procurement
- Project Management: Take charge of creating and updating
policies and procedures related to government purchasing and
contracts. Your skill in conducting trainings on compliance and
your ability to manage multiple projects with changing scopes and
timelines will ensure operational excellence
- Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with fleet
managers, decision makers, and stakeholders, positioning Tesla as
the go-to provider for government procurement. Support the
development of customer electrification plans and lend your
expertise to manage customer inquiries. Your comprehensive network
of business contacts will be essential in organizing customer
meetings and events
- Digital Tools and Services: Unleash the power of Tesla's
cutting-edge fleet digital tools and services among government
clients. Spearhead the charge for widespread adoption of Tesla for

teams, including Legal, Sales Operations, Retail Sales, Delivery,
and Service. By ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through

managing a diverse range of contractual agreements, encompassing
Purchase Orders, Municipal and State contracts, as well as NDAs
What You'll Bring
- Experience: With a minimum of 5 years of government contract
management experience, preferably in the Automotive industry,
you'll bring invaluable expertise to the table
- Relationship Building: Demonstrate your ability to work with
large, complex organizations and effortlessly engage
executive-level stakeholders. Your track record in leading
impactful conversations will set you apart
- Sales Strategy: You have a proven knack for forecasting and
executing strategic sales plans that drive exponential growth,
particularly within the public sector. Your analytical skills will
enable you to quantify contract opportunities using data,
influencing decision makers and propelling us to new heights
- Communication and Organization: Your exceptional written and
verbal communication skills will embody the Tesla voice,
captivating audiences with your clarity and conciseness. Your
organizational skills will ensure no detail goes unnoticed

- Education: Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent work
experience that demonstrates your dedication and expertise
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards +
benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. The total compensation package for this position may
also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if
an employee receives an offer of employment.
