The Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) Business Unit is a key platform within the division.Location: Remote USAHow will you make an impact?You will have leadership responsibility in developing and completing the Software strategy for CE. You will actively participate in external and internal communication and collaborations with thought leaders in the design and development of Dx and Next Gen CE Software platforms.What will you do?

  • Define software strategy, Develop multi-year, multi-generational product roadmap
  • Orchestrate user research and incorporate insights into new product ideas. Capture deep customer insights and develop accurate product and feature requirements for new introductions.
  • Cultivate networks with KOL's in the industry as well as with key team members within the company for idea generation and adoption
  • Distill key questions needing answers to make product feature and pricing decisions; select and guide appropriate market research projects to answer those key questions
  • Heavily apply data insights, market and customer research, and your product intuition to continually improve the product
  • Find opportunities and generate ideas for growth and strengthening the performance of the platform through new features to provide outstanding and lasting customer value
  • Drive modularity and reusability across the partners to continually enrich the platform
  • Tailor features in the product to meet the needs of the target customer segments.
  • Support and provide mentorship on the creation of marketing collateral
  • Work with key internal departments to help resolve product design issues and own trade-off decisionsDevelop Business Case
    • Forecast revenue or savings opportunities associated with product development initiatives; create business cases and present to partners including up to executive management
    • Own the development of SaaS pricing strategiesExecute on product delivery and cultivate collaboration
      • Drive new and continually improve platform capabilities and services
      • Align and influence cross functional team on a platform level mission and roadmap that require problem solving, information analysis and synthesis, and the ability to persuade and influence others
      • Act as a key externally focused contact for internal departments including Engineering, Regulatory Affairs and Quality
      • Partner with instrument product managers to develop and share information about product launch, competition, and technology upgrades as appropriate, and to gain information about the market landscape and customer needs
      • Clearly communicate plans, insights, data, and results to a spectrum of audiences including executives, product teams, and other decision makers across the company.
      • Conduct customer visits produce trip reports, and information flow to Engineering and other team membersHow will you get here?Education
        • Bachelors degree in business, health sciences, computer science, MIS, or related subject area required.
        • MBA is a plus.Experience
          • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management, optimally building and delivering innovative digital platforms and products as a lead or sole product manager from conception to launch.
          • Experience in the health tech and digital health domains is preferred
          • Deep experience working with sophisticated data, market research with proven synthesis ability and financial skills.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
            • Ability to adopt technology/innovation to meet end user needs
            • Ability to define commercial models for software.
            • Understand the intersection between clinical healthcare, technology applications, and trends.
            • Good understanding of software quality management systems, supervised software in healthcare and agile
            • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members.
            • Comfortable with decision making, Strong influencing skills
            • Ability to see challenges as opportunities and lead by the "Everything is possible" demeanor
            • Forward-thinking learner, curious, and eager to succeed
            • Strong networking skills to collaborate with regional Key Opinion leaders to understand and anticipate future market trends.
