Job Description:

Manage the overall Talent Acquisition function andensure the Aquarium has access to the best and most diverse talent on the market. Develop, implement andexecute talent acquisition strategies that support our current and future staffing needs. Perform full-cycle recruitment alongside the TA team, collaborating with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop innovative recruitment strategies. Establish and sustain metrics to drive strategic decisions and measure progress and health of the TA program. Perform other duties as required. Core Activities: Manage the overall Talent Acquisition (TA) program; develop, implement and execute TA strategies, programs and initiatives. Develop strategies that support current and future staffing needs, using qualitative and quantitative data (5%) Design programs and processes (10%) Implement new programs (5%) Coach, manage and mentor the members of our Talent Acquisition team and drive day-to-day recruitment operations. Manage relationships with department leads and hiring managers including soliciting feedback on individual recruitments and overall recruitment program. Contribute to full-cycle recruitment efforts alongside TA team members. Collaborate with DEI Program Manager on diversity recruitment efforts to ensure a diverse applicant/candidate pool; provide key diversity metrics including applicant/candidate pool and hires. Research relevant benchmark information to compare current talent acquisition programs with comparable best practices Develop and produce appropriate metrics on a regular cadence to track and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of all talent acquisition processes Produce relevant presentations, covering key aspects of talent acquisition Work on HR and cross-divisional special projects; lead and/or serve as TA subject-matter-expert on various projects and initiatives. Plan and administer recruitment budget; monitor expenditures for adherence to established budgetary parameters. Update and maintain Recruitment SOPs ensuring processes and procedures comply with all federal, state and local hiring/employment/labor laws. Collaborate with Marketing to develop/maintain talent brand and social media programs to meet organization's recruitment strategy. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): Minimum 1-3 years experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or HCM/HRIS systems Knowledge and experience with candidate sourcing and screening techniques Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in collaborating with colleagues, peers, and executives to achieve shared goals Ability to analyze and interpret data and develop strategies that deliver results Ability to maintain confidentiality Time and project management PHR or SPHR designation highly desirable Ability to work within, and maintain Monterey Bay Aquarium's Core Values Demonstrated commitment to Monterey Bay Aquarium's Leadership Competencies PDN-95f66a8d-a092-45a5-82bc-b4c1c474151f
