We're rapidly expanding our manufacturing facilities and seeking to hire a Production Planning Manager. Here at Ichor, we have a friendly, business-oriented environment, and offer a comprehensive benefits plan that includes medical, dental, vision, health savings account, paid time off, life insurance, short term disability, and 401K with generous employer match Duties/Responsibilities: - Develops and implements the company's production control functions including any of the following activities - Master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting - Approves quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, as well as receipt and issuance of production material requirements - Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing production procedures and personnel - May coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems - Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures. - Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function - Other duties assigned as necessary Desired Skills/Abilities: - Proven expertise managing, evaluating, and quickly analyzing to create meaningful business impact - Ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners. Can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed - Proven ability to make meaningful contributions with competing priorities &and provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events Education and Experience: - Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar discipline. - Minimum 10 years Production Planning / Master Scheduler experience and inclusive of 5 years of Managerial experience that require analysis and reporting financial results - Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to take on and create new assignments - Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate that analysis - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, PowerBI, MS - - Excel VBA) Previous experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment - Use data and bias for action to work through ambiguity and deliver results About Ichor: Ichor offers world-class process engineering, manufacturing, materials management, and testing capabilities.
