For more information, visit or follow us on LinkedIn.POSITION SUMMARYThe Sr. Program Manager is responsible for directing and applying hands-on technical skills to programs and projects at all stages of the lifecycle ensuring customer needs are met, active communication happens regularly, and that budgets and timelines are controlled. Supports assigned customers to assure best in class design and quality for product and provides seamless communication between Meraqi and customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for ultimate results of project milestones and deliverablesLeads efforts to analyze current project operations, makes recommendations for improvement and coordinates the decision-making processOwnership of information flow between team members, the project leader, senior management and the clientResponsible for establishing and developing cross functional teams to support research and development process and may identify optimal opportunities for product improvementsOrganizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraintsInteracts internally and externally with senior management requiring negotiation of difficult matters in order to influence policymaking bodies both internally and externallyMakes final decisions on administrative or operational matters as it pertains to projectManages resources to ensure staff are selected and sufficiently trained to meet current and future work requirementsDirects engineering studies of the design to determine ability to function as intendedCoordinates creation of design development, risk management and manufacturing documentation in accordance with internal SOPs or client requirements.Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development in accordance with internal SOPs or client requirements.Prepares project plans that specify project phases, tasks, task interdependencies, durations, resource assignments, and costsWrites and reviews customer proposals and scope changesCoordinates activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure the delivery of supplies or services to meet scheduled timelinesWorks with staff in administering the performance management system to ensure development needs are met and feedback is providedEnsure proper application of HR policies through recommendation and approval of HR actions such as salary administration, disciplinary action, and time offAny other duties as assignedREPORTING STRUCTUREDirect and indirect supervision and management of engineers and assemblers / techniciansREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering is desired, Masters preferredMinimum 5 years of medical device product design and development experience is requiredDemonstrated ability to independently lead successful product development projects.SolidWorks 3D CAD proficiency preferredAbility to interact with client companies in a professional mannerFamiliarity with FDA, QSR, and ISO 13485 medical device regulations and standardsDepth of knowledge in one or more clinical or product areasDepth of knowledge in one or more technical areasFlexibility, persistence, passion, resourcefulness, a drive to succeed, and an entrepreneurial spiritCORE COMPETENCIESCommunication SkillsAll verbal and written communications are concise, technically accurate, timely, and professional.
