world. Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior
Principal Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems
Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars &
Sensors Center, supporting the SPY-6 Family of Radars in defining
customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements
definition and decomposition, system performance, execution of
system integration and analysis activities. This role will require
communication skills to convey solutions and results to teammates
and leadership. What You Will Do Develop concepts of operations for
radar systems. Radar processing algorithm development. Radar
software requirements development. Statistical and numerical
analysis of radar performance data. Analysis tool development in
support of problem identification and resolution. Working with
Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
Willingness for occasional travel to support mission execution at
various facilities and test sites. Travel will be minimal,
approximately 5%. This role can be based out of Tewksbury, MA or
Marlborough, MA. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
(STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with systems: software, hardware, requirements,
integration, and/or test. Experience with MATLAB. Qualifications We
Prefer Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar
system and software architecture on DoD systems. Experience with
signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments.
Design experience in the following radar system areas: antenna,
receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor
track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing,
clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic
protect, sensor resource management and mission planning.
Experience with C++, Python, or similar. Experience in developing
and managing requirements, including use of DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo
or other digital engineering tools. Experience with technical
writing and oral presentations. Masters/PhD Degree in STEM field.

role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
