Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology

critical to businesses. Your contributions can help clients improve
financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel
growth through innovation.Work You'll Do
- Oversee health, uptime, and performance of data center systems
(servers, storage, network, cooling)
- Perform regular checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting for
physical and virtual servers
- Maintain equipment inventories, asset tracking, and
documentation of change management for hardware and
configurations
- Deploy, configure, and manage servers, hypervisors, and
virtualization platforms per organizational standards
- Update system configurations, Operating System patches,
firmware, and security baselines
- Use monitoring tools to assess system health, storage, network
performance, and environmental metrics
- Identify and resolve performance issues, optimizing resources
to meet organizational needs
- Develop and implement backup strategies, disaster recovery
plans, and high availability configurations
- Conduct regular backup testing and recovery drills for business
continuity
- Support data center network infrastructure (switches, routers,
firewalls, load balancers)
- Ensure compliance with security standards and implement network
security measures
- Maintain documentation for operations, including network
diagrams, hardware configurations, and recovery procedures
- Provide regular updates on metrics, incidents, and operational
improvements
- Collaborate with engineering/project teams on infrastructure
projects, upgrades, and capacity planningThe TeamDeloitte's

- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to be onsite 100% of the time in one of the locations
listed: Washington DC; Reston, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Tampa, FL;
St. Louis MO and Huntsville, AL
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Proven experience at least 5+ years in Data Center
Engineering.
Preferred:
- Proficient in data center management software, virtualization
(e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds,
Nagios)
- Possess knowledge of networking, storage systems (SAN, NAS),
and backup solutionsThe wage range for this role takes into account
the wide range of factors that are considered in making
compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets;
experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other
business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has
not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential
associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or
near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions
are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000 to
$195,000.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary
annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the
program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors,
including, without limitation, individual and organizational
