Supernal has embarked on a mission to support the creation of groundbreaking Battery Technology, building an innovative, safe, balanced, and highly efficient energy storage solution for eVTOL aircraft.--Battery Management Engineer is responsible for creating the high-voltage battery management system. This role will work closely with hardware and software engineers from multi-functional teams.
Develop requirements for different performance prediction algorithms
Verify model parameters for tracking and prediction algorithms against data collected during cell testing in a controlled environment
Optimize the algorithm to work within real-time computer resource constraints, such as CPU cycles, memory, and power consumption
Partner with PMO organization to implement build plan
Up to 10% of domestic and international travel
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; Experience in modeling tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Simscape, including MATLAB optimization toolboxes
Programming skills in languages like C and C++ for real-time applications
Data analysis skills and scripting skills, preferably in Python, to process large volumes of data
