Engineering team aims to provide technical expertise inDesign for
Manufacturing (DFM) and Turn-key factory design for current
andfuture locations around the world.Seekinga Ergonomics Engineer
to design and develop technically complex -workproducts that ensure
compliance and standardization across vehicle and energyproduct
design, factory design, construction, and launch. The ergonomics
engineer directly interfaces withDesign and Manufacturing
engineering to bridge the gap from concept toproduction -to ensure
key integration of human capabilities criteria -indesign. -The
ideal candidate will work closely withinternal cross-functional
teams, external vendors and technologypartners -to develop world
class human-factors and ergonomicssolutions, -which promote safer
work environment, more efficient (lean)processes and maximum human
performance and well-being. What You'll Do
- Lead EHS in Design for EHS integration into product designand
factory development
- Perform technical analysis to evaluate, verify and
validatedesigns against regulations and internal standards
- Create processes and improvements to integrate technologyand
digital modeling into a systems approach to managing risks
- Lead engineering reviews utilizing Virtual Digital HumanModel
(DHM) Simulations to ensure technical solutions are understood
andacceptable for implementation
- Perform equipment design reviews and provide design guidanceto
vendors.
- Work with cross functional teams such as Design
Engineering,Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, to
evaluate new vehicle /product/ and factory designs and ensure the
Ergonomics requirements areimplemented.
- Perform ergonomic analysis & evaluation,
interpretspecifications and guidelines, and provide technical
recommendations supportedby objective findings
- Train and mentor others in ergonomics engineering and
worksystem design
- Perform process analysis of existing work content to
solicitfeedback to design out legacy issues
- Create digital standards and targets to ensure bestergonomics
work-practices are part of the design
- Expert in NIOSH lifting Equation, Energy Expenditureanalysis,
3DSSPP, RULA, REBA, Biomechanical Model, Fatigue Analysis, Push
PullCarry Tables, Anthropometric charts, Duty Cycle Equation,
Strain Index, ForceExertion Calculator, other Ergonomic Evaluations
tools. What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, orMechanical
Engineering (required); Master's degree in Ergonomics,
HumanFactors, Kinesiology, or related degree (highly
preferred)
- Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP) or eligible(desired);
Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) or eligible
(preferred)
- Minimum 3 years related experience in a
technology-basedindustry, where advanced manufacturing techniques
are utilized.
- CATIA/3DX experience using DELMIA simulation software
andDigital Human Modeling (DHM)
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks or advance computer skills
- Working knowledge of ISO Ergonomic standards
- Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, JIRA,
andSharePoint.
- High level of interpersonal, oral and written
communicationskills-ability to interact with all levels of the

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards +
benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. The total compensation package for this position may
also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
