  • To support Client's expanding fleet of data centers, we are seeking an experienced, outgoing, and self-motivated program manager to join our Site Startup team within Facility Operations to support various technical programs and processes.
  • This person will support data center design change management process from an operational perspective.
  • The program manager will also assist our Startup Engineers provide regional support to our data centers and participate in programmatic activities to ensure successful startup and transition from construction to operations.
  • Managing stakeholders spread across time zones is a significant challenge and key to the success of our individual projects and overall program. Responsibilities
    • Support management of our Data Center Improvement System (DCIS) by helping manage technical design change requests, attending weekly design change management meetings, tracking team action items, and maintaining proactive stance/awareness about issues.
    • Coordinate with Client construction and designs team to ensure specifications related to turnover, document turnover, and general closeout are robust and kept up to date.
    • Support Startup Engineers in development and maintenance of key programs supporting the overall Site Startup effort.
    • Support Startup Engineers in identifying and correcting gaps in existing processes or lack thereof related to starting up and turning over new Data Center facilities.
    • Support Startup Engineers in development and approval of processes, procedures, and reporting metrics that help drive successful turnover of new Data Centers.
    • Support Startup Engineers manage their sites' P6 Startup Plan and a successful handoff the site from construction to operations by: attending meeting with P6 schedulers, attending document turnover and other closeout meetings, attending regional and global meetings with new site personnel, ensuring an appropriate turnover plan exists for each phase, tracking site's completion of the turnover/handover checklist, and facilitating in problem resolution.
    • Interface and coordinate with internal organizations and stakeholders as necessary, to include Data Center Design, Infrastructure Construction Management, and Data Center Facilities Engineering Team.
    • Support the data center Document Turnover Program; work closely with site Facility Operations teams, Client Infrastructure Construction Management team, and General Contractors to ensure documents are being turned over to the Facility Operations team as specified by contracts.
    • Collaborate with other third-party vendors who support document turnover or other activities related to this role.
    • Develop and approve processes, procedures, and reporting metrics to drive successful document turnover from GCs to Client.
    • Develop training and reference material on document turnover; provide timely training to both external and internal teams.
    • Experience in construction and/or operations of mission critical facilities a plus.
