WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Responsible for project managing A/V design pack process for new
builds and retrofit projects.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for established A/V System
Designs within a large corporate system portfolio.
Follows the standards and policies defined for A/V Installation
(AVI) and A/V Construction (AVC) drawing sets.
Administer and manage building specific drawing projects in
partnership with internal stakeholders such as deployment project
managers, deployment engineers, facilities project managers, and
contract drafting vendors.
Interface with internal team partners such as Design Engineers and
Deployment Operations & Commissioning team by participating in the
design review process and lab certification of A/V Systems.
Utilize internal tooling and project management systems to drive
efficiency. Determine requirements for additional automation where
Document and refine the design drawing process for stakeholders
Develop custom configurations around A/V hardware systems as
Drive initiatives to continuously improve process and SLA
experience based on stakeholder feedback and internal data
Look to improve all aspects of the AV design pack process
At least 2-3 years in an A/V Engineering or design related
Experience with AV engineering for new construction and
Demonstrated discipline to actively manage large multi-floor AV
design drawing projects without getting distracted by email, chat,
or other ad-hoc communication
Ability to prioritize Customer Support and drawing accuracy .
At least two years experience with AutoCAD and BIM360 with a
demonstrated ability to disseminate, modify, and create detailed
drawings from standard drawing sets.
Ability and passion for learning new technology and tools
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with cross
functional stakeholders, integrators, and project managers.
The ability to analyze design drawing requests and prioritize them
based on SLA requirements.
Self-Starter - The ability to actively look for effective tasks to
complete in times of low ticket volume.
Prior experience with conference room technologies in a large
Working knowledge of Revit.
AVIXA CTS Certification
Bachelor degree in related discipline
