Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for a short-term, in-person contract assignment in Sunnyvale, CA. This role involves providing in-school therapy services to support students during a District Occupational Therapists medical leave, expected to last approximately nine weeks starting late January or early February. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatment services to school-aged children. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet student needs. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and school personnel. Desired Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Knowledge of school therapy services and related regulations. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work on-site full time with flexibility to adapt to student needs. Commitment to providing quality therapeutic support in a collaborative school environment. Location & Schedule: Assignment is based onsite at a school in Sunnyvale, California. Full-time contract for approximately nine weeks starting late January or early February. Onsite presence is required for the duration of the assignment.
