Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior
Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A school-based position is
available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting
K-12 students within an autism program located in Newark, Delaware.
This contract role spans the current school year with an
anticipated end date of June 12, 2026. The ideal candidate will
have an active or previously held RBT certification, with
demonstrated experience working in school settings, particularly
supporting students who exhibit aggressive behaviors.
Responsibilities include: Delivering behavior intervention services
to elementary students in general education classrooms Addressing
and managing aggressive behaviors through evidence-based techniques
Providing life skills support, including assistance with self-care,
toileting, and bathroom routines Collaborating with educators and
behavior specialists to create a supportive learning environment
Qualifications: Active Registered Behavior Technician certification
(proof of certification required) Prior school-based experience
working with students exhibiting aggressive behaviors is mandatory
Comfort and willingness to assist with life-skills support
including personal care activities Reliable transportation and
commitment to full-time hours (37.5 hours/week; 8:45 AM 4:15 PM
EST) Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements promptly and
cover the associated fee upfront This role offers the opportunity
to work closely with students who require specialized behavioral
support within an educational setting. The position provides
consistent hours and the chance to contribute meaningfully to
student development in an autism program. Interview sessions will
be conducted via Microsoft Teams and will last approximately 1530
