To learn more about our team, our process, and the work we do, visit our website. https://jsdesignbuild.com/ Summary of Responsibilities The Project Manager is responsible for owning residential remodeling projects from design and estimating handoff through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and in alignment with approved plans and client expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients during construction, coordinates subcontractors and internal team members, manages schedules and documentation in Buildertrend, tracks job costs and change orders, and maintains quality, organization, and clear communication throughout the build process. Essential Functions Take ownership of residential remodeling projects from production handoff through closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase Manage project schedules, documentation, and communication using Buildertrend Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and internal team members Track job costs against approved budgets and identify issues early Manage and document change orders in coordination with estimating and accounting Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to plans Maintain organized project records, photos, logs, and updates Lead punch list completion, final walkthroughs, and warranty items Communicate clearly and proactively to keep projects moving forward smoothly Education, Experience, and Skills Required 5 years of experience managing residential remodeling or custom home projects Knowledge of current residential building codes, permits, and inspections Strong knowledge of design-build construction workflows Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from handoff through closeout Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management software Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Strong client-facing communication and professional presence Solid organizational skills with consistent documentation and follow-through Working understanding of job costs, budgets, and change order management Team player with the ability to collaborate well Compensation Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 annually Benefits Package: 100% covered Platinum Kaiser medical insurance Dental and vision coverage 20% employer contribution toward medical coverage for immediate family Retirement plan with automatic 3% employer contribution Paid vacation and paid holidays Cell phone reimbursement or company-provided phone Mileage reimbursement or use of a company vehicle during work hours How to Apply Submit an updated resume. ?We have a formal recruiting process and have a relationship with Zephyr Connects LLC, whom we use for the screening and hiring process.
