Are you a skilled accounting professional looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? At Oakdale Irrigation District (OID), we are dedicated to protecting and developing vital water resources that support over 80,000 acres of agricultural land in Stanislaus County.


We are currently seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Finance Department in a full-time, non-exempt position.


Position Details:



Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary: $40.21 - $48.88/hour

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement and more

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer



Key Responsibilities:



Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including Treasurer's reports

Maintain general ledger and perform journal entries and account reconciliations

Assist with annual financial audits and maintain internal control procedures

Compile financial reports for management, regulatory agencies, and the Board of Directors



Qualifications:



Minimum of three (3) years of professional accounting experience

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university
