Position Summary: The senior business intelligence analyst's primary responsibility is to implement and maintain data models and structures that support the data analytic needs of the FP&A department and Washington Hospital Health System. The senior businessintelligence analyst works collaboratively withOthers in the department and across the health system to gather financial and clinical data. He/she is responsible for identifying business-critical metrics that must be reported consistently for decision-making. This role isresponsible for data storage and retrieval following best practices i n collaboration with the IT data warehouse team, whichincludes data from multiple systems such as EPIC, McKesson PFM, PMM, A DP, Strata,Vizient Action OI, and others. The business intelligence analyst is also responsible for analyzing business results and creating self-service report ng solutions for others in the organization.This role will also work closely with IT and with the Revenue IntegrityManager to support the collection of statistics and charge capture across the organization.Education:Required Bachelor's degree with a major in one of the following: accounting, finance, computer science, business, and data science. Preferred master's degree in business administ ration or healthcare administration.Work Experience: Required:5 or more years of direct work experience in one or more domains: data analysis, decision support, business intelligence, database administration, reportwriting, andsystemadministration.Preferred: experience in healthcare decision support andhealthcare business intelligence.
